These diets are formulated by dieting experts so you have to seek medical advice before undergoing this type of dieting technique. It contains recommended daily requirements for vitamins, minerals, trace elements, fatty acids and protein. This Very Low Calorie Diet product usually comes in powder form and mixed in water or another low calorie liquid. It should only be observed for a certain period not exceeding for more than three to seven days because it can cause damage on your health. Many people on VLC Diets complain fatigue, constipation, nausea and diarrhea. One of the most common serious side effects seen with VLCD is gallstone formation, which are common among obese people and putting you more at risk during rapid weight loss.

Very low calorie diets can be helpful for some who have serious weight problems but still natural regimens for weight loss are the best way to reduce weight. Forcing yourself on taking very low calorie diets can be very dangerous to your health. If not, it may affect you psychologically when you fail to achieve the ideal result you are aiming for.

So, increasing fluid intake and eating high fiber diet are still much safer than VLCD. The key for a successful weight loss is self discipline and self control. Be involved with sports and exercise to burn off all the fats in your body. You can still eat a couple of sweets but assure yourself that you eat with moderation. Have a low carbohydrate diet and eat in small frequent feeding Taking a snack within four to five hours is more advisable than one big meal. Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables to keep your body energized and healthy.

You must always remember that eating no carbohydrates can affect your body’s function and performance. Self image is more important than physical appearance. Keep yourself happy with the way you are and you will surely be surprised as to what others see in you.
