Initially, this was supported by the fact that those in China and Japan have lower occurrences of some cancers. Now, proper studies reveal that EGCG plays an important role in ending the life of these cancer cells. Study participants who drank 8-10 cups of tea per day had a demonstrably lower rate of these cancers than those who only drank 2-3 cups per day.

As an antioxidant, green tea extract has properties that prevent the oxidation of harmful cholesterols. When too much LDL-cholesterol is oxidized, the eventual result is the blockage of arteries with plaque. In this role, green tea is particularly useful in the prevention of and recovery from heart disease.

Every body is different, and even though many others have used this supplement with success, your results may be different.
